Generation details

• Built-in image generation was attempted twice using the exact prompt saved at script/logs/daily-ai-news-collage/gemini-prompt_10-18-26.txt.
• The required freshness lookup for post-RUN_START ig_*.png files returned no match because this Codex build persisted the renders under exec-*.png names.
• The current session transcript was recovered with codex_extract_images.py; the last extracted image from the second render was selected and verified as a valid 1024 × 1536 RGB PNG (2,911,443 bytes).
• Visual review confirmed six square panels, all six correctly spelled captions, the correct bottom-right timestamp, a detailed editorial render, and no recognizable real-person likenesses. Incidental numeric sports/gas-price markings appear within the scenes, but there is no panel numbering.
• Gemini fallback was not used.

Delivery and publish

• Commit/push result: Initial artifact commit 28b1a413 (Add daily news collage for 2026-10-18) pushed successfully to origin/mike_desktop; the finalized delivery metadata was pushed in a follow-up metadata-only commit.
• AgentMail email result: Attachment send succeeded via the configured Resend provider. Helper JSON: {"attachments":["Daily-News-Collage_10-18-26.png"],"attempts":[{"id":"01a15461-8913-7a2e-8cd6-cd5f9df65434","provider":"resend","status":"sent"}],"from":"AI Automation Library <fleet@send.mikesailab.com>","id":"01a15461-8913-7a2e-8cd6-cd5f9df65434","inbox_id":"","message_id":"01a15461-8913-7a2e-8cd6-cd5f9df65434","provider":"resend","status":"sent","thread_id":"","to":["mikeschecht@gmail.com"]}
• Issues: Built-in render filenames did not match the expected ig_*.png cache pattern; session-transcript recovery succeeded, so no stale cache file or paid fallback was used.
